Buying A New Guitar And Setting Goals

Sometimes, I get something in my mind and I just can’t stop thinking about it. That was the case with wanting to learn the play the electric guitar.

So… what did I do? I bought one!

I’m a compulsive spender, I know. But, in my defense, I even had a dream about owning an electric guitar. But isn’t my guitar just beautiful?!

I chose a sunshine yellow, Les Paul guitar. I bought it from Dawson’s which is great because the staff were super helpful and even answered all my dumb questions.

But anyway, buying the guitar seemed to release a new person who was trapped inside of me. I now have way more motivation and energy. I wake up easier in the morning and I am actually excited to play my guitar.

I haven’t been excited for something in a while because of my depression but it’s like I have changed now!

So, I was setting myself some goals while I’m feeling better…

1. Learn to play the guitar. It doesn’t have to be perfect but I would at least like to sound decent.
2. Hit my goal weight of 10 stone by the end of the year. I haven’t given myself much time to lose 5 stone but I think I can do it if I really try.
3. Stop buying pointless stuff hahahahaha like that will happen….
