Calling all Swifties – this a post for you. Whethere you’re a old fan or a newbie (like me) we all need to gather together and get excited because Taylor Swift’s ‘Lover’ album is here and I can’t get enough of it.
Since the album is completely relatable, I thought I would share some of my favourite lyrics from the album so that we can all use them to express how we are feeling from now on…
“I hate accidents, except when we went from friends to this” – Paper Rings
“I’m so sick of running as fast as I can. Wondering if I’d get there quicker if I was a man” – The Man
“Maybe you ran with the wolves and refused to settle down” – Daylight
“I lived like an island, punished you with silence” – Afterglow
“Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover” – Lover
“I don’t wanna keep secrets just to keep you” – Cruel Summer
“Lived in the shade you were throwing. ‘Til all of my sunshine was gone, gone, gone” – I Forgot That You Existed
What are your favourite songs or lyrics from Lover?
Sometimes, I get something in my mind and I just can’t stop thinking about it. That was the case with wanting to learn the play the electric guitar.
So… what did I do? I bought one!
I’m a compulsive spender, I know. But, in my defense, I even had a dream about owning an electric guitar. But isn’t my guitar just beautiful?!
I chose a sunshine yellow, Les Paul guitar. I bought it from Dawson’s which is great because the staff were super helpful and even answered all my dumb questions.
But anyway, buying the guitar seemed to release a new person who was trapped inside of me. I now have way more motivation and energy. I wake up easier in the morning and I am actually excited to play my guitar.
I haven’t been excited for something in a while because of my depression but it’s like I have changed now!
So, I was setting myself some goals while I’m feeling better…
- Learn to play the guitar. It doesn’t have to be perfect but I would at least like to sound decent.
- Hit my goal weight of 10 stone by the end of the year. I haven’t given myself much time to lose 5 stone but I think I can do it if I really try.
- Stop buying pointless stuff hahahahaha like that will happen….
What goals have you set for yourself recently?
