Easter Eggs are starting to fill the shop shelves. At first, people were confused as why they were arriving so early and I was too. Now, I’m just enjoying that fact that the creme eggs are back!
If you’re a blogger, you might want to write a few Easter themed blog posts this year. I plan on writing a few myself which is where this list came from.
I was just planning all my future blog posts and I made a huge list of blog post ideas for each event or holiday that came up. Since Easter is on it’s way, I thought I would share my post ideas just incase you wish to write about any of these too.
If you’re a blogger then you might be able to understand what blogger block is like. You’re in the mood to write a post but what do you write about?!
Blogger block doesn’t care whether you’re a new blogging, older blogger or a part time blogger. It also doesn’t care what genre your write. If you’re a writer of any kind, you are likely to face-to-face with blogger block at some point.
There’s no way that you can stop blogger block but you can prepare yourself for when it hits by having some post ideas jotted down.
There’s plenty of moments in your life where you are doing nothing. I like to call these ‘in-between’ moments. These are the moments when you are ‘in-between’ other things.
We can waste a lot of time with our in-between moments without even realising.
A little way that you can notice how many in-between moments that you have is by tracking the minutes of your day. When I do this, I notice that I take 30 minutes a day just dancing around the room to music, 2 hours scrolling through Twitter, and at least 5 minutes a day waiting for the kettle to boil.
Sometimes we have in-between moments when we are putting off doing something. I could happily reorganise my bookshelves or organise my wardrobe by colour just to avoid responding to emails or tidying.
In our mind, we probably still class this as being productive and in some ways it is. However, there’s other things that we should be doing instead and deep down, we know that.
Twitter is one of the biggest social media platforms. There are 330 million monthly active users and 145 million daily active users on Twitter. With so many users, it’s pretty easy to see why businesses and brands can benefit from using the platform.
When you’re just a small blogger, the biggest question is how can you get some of those 330 million users to notice your account and engage with you.
Most bloggers head into Twitter with such enthusiasm which is great. The problem only comes when you seem to be pumping out a lot of content and no one seems to be noticing.
Building a following on any social media platform can take time and a lot of work. There are definitely strategies that can help you increase your Twitter engagement, leading to more clicks, increased brand awareness, and more conversions.
Productivity is not about doing more, it’s about effectiveness.
We have a limited amount of hours in a day. One they are gone, you can not get them back. The way that you spend your hours can be very important. That doesn’t mean that you need to stress out now though. It means that you should make a plan to get organised and productive so that you can spend your future hours more wisely.
You need to find a balance in life. Think of the yin and yang. You can only work so hard before you get burned out and you can only relax for too long before you feel sluggish. Finding balance in this is so important and it’s something that you will develop over time.
There’s a few different ways that you can build a productive system and you can start doing these things today. There’s no need to put things off anymore. Get started now.
