When 2020 started, I felt like it was a fresh start with a whole bunch of new possibilities. Little did I know, 2020 had a different idea for all of us. This year just really hasn’t been too kind. However, I have decided to look back over the whole 2020/lockdown experience in a more positive way to see what good things have happened so far this year.

This quarantine and self-isolation situation seems to be lasting a lot longer that we all initially expected. Finding ways to spend time inside is getting harder and harder.
We have been inside for a long time and time-killing ideas are getting sparse. That is why I have created this list of things you can do inside your home.

You probably already know that yesterday at 8:30pm, Boris Johnson announced that the UK was going into lockdown. He stated that there’s now only a few reasons that you are allowed to leave the house and that the police will have more power now.
If you didn’t quite catch what he was saying, here’s the only times you’re allowed to leave the house:
- Shopping for basic necessities
- One form of exercise a day
- Medical need, to provide care or to help a vulnerable person
- Travelling to and from work (if completely necessary)
This will be a 3 week lockdown and then the situation will be reassessed.
I know that that is exactly what this country needs but I can also understand that this is going to be hard for people’s mental health, including mine.
