I know that 2020 really hasn’t been a great year for most people, but that doesn’t mean that it’s all doom and gloom.
Sometimes you might have to search pretty hard for something to be grateful for but there will always be something. Even when you feel like your day is going terribly, there’s still something to be grateful for.
When you really think about it, there is so much we have to be grateful for. Here are 100 of those things.
People online keep talking about comfort characters and I honestly love it. Finding a character who brings you happiness in that way is just so lovely. I was trying to work out who my comfort character was but I couldn’t just choose one.
So, I decided to try making an A-Z list of all my favourite characters. I feel like this might be easier than choosing just one comfort character.
So, here are my favourite characters from tv shows, films and games.
October turned out to be a month of gaming for me. It wasn’t because I bought loads of new games or because there was a new release, it was simply because I didn’t have anything else to do and found myself playing on my Switch a lot. I’m not mad though.
Since March, I had only really been playing Animal Crossing. I was addicted and it’s what I spent most of my time doing. However, the Animal Crossing burnout has hit and I’m hardly even playing the game now.
Don’t get me wrong, I still love Animal Crossing. But I had to start playing something else. And I definitely did just that.
This month I played quite a few different games so I thought I would write a monthly roundup style post to talk about the games that I’ve played.
Summer has been a pretty odd experience this year so I’m glad that it’s finally coming to an end. Although, I would say that about summer any year because I just really don’t like the heat too much.
I’ve always been a bigger fan of the colder weather so naturally I prefer Autumn and Winter over Summer. Autumn has just always warmed my heart. It makes me think of fresh starts and beautiful aesthetics.
Whenever it starts to feel a little bit cooler, I start to look forward to movie nights under a blanket with a hot chocolate and marshmallows.
But anyway, since Autumn is here and has been for about a week now, I figured I would share my 2020 Autumn bucket list with you all…
Instagram is such a huge online platform so it only makes sense to make the most of it when you’re trying to grow your online life. Instagram stories just keep on getting better so there’s no time to wait when it comes to using them.
Whether you use Instagram for fun, or you use it to grow a business, there’s so much you can do on Instagram stories so I thought that I would show you just a few ideas that I have.
I really don’t know why but starting my day with a photo of my ‘waking up’ view is super satisfying. You might not think the same but that’s what is so wonderful about Instagram stories. You can post whatever you want.
I also find that I’m way more active on Instagram stories that day if I upload pretty much as soon as I wake up.
In my endeavour to be organised each day, week, month and year, I have been writing up plans for each month.
I had drafted Aprils’s plans and goals but I didn’t share them because I was apprehensive of whether or not I would actually complete them. I am the queen of making plans and giving up on them only a few hours later.
Even though I didn’t share my April plans with you all, I did decide to keep them all on a little note on my laptop, just to test myself.
In the end, I had managed to complete a couple of them including Instagram growth and drinking water.
This month, I am throwing caution to the wind and I am sharing my plans with you all. I don’t want to be held back by the fear of not being good enough anymore.
You probably already know that yesterday at 8:30pm, Boris Johnson announced that the UK was going into lockdown. He stated that there’s now only a few reasons that you are allowed to leave the house and that the police will have more power now.
If you didn’t quite catch what he was saying, here’s the only times you’re allowed to leave the house:
Shopping for basic necessities
One form of exercise a day
Medical need, to provide care or to help a vulnerable person
Travelling to and from work (if completely necessary)
This will be a 3 week lockdown and then the situation will be reassessed.
I know that that is exactly what this country needs but I can also understand that this is going to be hard for people’s mental health, including mine.
I am definitely one of those people who’s obsessed with their devices. The very first thing I do in the morning is check my phone and the last things that I do before going to sleep is check I won’t miss out on anything. Even if I wake up in the night, I have a quick scroll through Twitter and Instagram before trying to get back to sleep. Do you do this too?
Even though I probably spend way too much time on my iPhone, I thought I would share some of my favourite apps with you all so that you can all become addicted too.
I try to mix my iPhone full of fun apps and app that make me be productive so I figured that I would show you a few from each of these types.
If you’re a blogger then you might be able to understand what blogger block is like. You’re in the mood to write a post but what do you write about?!
Blogger block doesn’t care whether you’re a new blogging, older blogger or a part time blogger. It also doesn’t care what genre your write. If you’re a writer of any kind, you are likely to face-to-face with blogger block at some point.
There’s no way that you can stop blogger block but you can prepare yourself for when it hits by having some post ideas jotted down.
