How To Prepare Your Phone For A Disney Trip

Visiting a Disney park is a dream come true. Not every Disney fan is lucky enough to be able to visit a park in their life. If you are lucky enough, you’ll want to make sure that you’re all ready to make your time as magical as possible.

It’s not only important to get yourself ready but you need to prep your phone too.

I don’t think that people realise how important their phone is for the perfect Disney trip. Everything used to come on paper several years ago. You had your fastpasses on paper, your maps on paper and you had your meal reservations on paper. But, those days are gone. Everything is digital which makes your phone so much more important than you would think.

Apps I Can’t Get Enough Of

Everyday, I think about how great phones are and everything that we are able to do because of them. There are days that I am sick of my phone and want to dump it in the bin but that’s a whole different story. For the most part, I love my phone and I’m very attached to it.

My phone is a huge part of my life and what I do. As you know, my dream is to be a full time blogger or to work with social media. Which means that I spend a lot of time on my phone. I just can’t be without it.

WordPress

As you probably know, I blog through WordPress. That means that WordPress is the most important app that I can have. It’s useful for just checking on my stats throughout the day or writing some notes or a quick draft for a blog post.

Unfold

I use Instagram Stories a lot more than uploading to my Instagram feed. I find posting to my feed is just too much commitment. Maybe that’s why I enjoy using stories more. But don’t get me wrong, I still want my stories to look good which is why I use Unfold. It’s easy to use and helps to create pretty stories.

Wunderlist

If you love lists as much as I do then you’ll love this app. You can create lists for all kind of things. You can even set reminders so that you never forget anything.

VSCO

This is my favourite app for editing photos. You can add filters, make your photos brighter or adjust the colour of photos. I find that it’s such an easy app to use and I’m definitely addicted to it. I use it to edit every single photo I take.

A Month With My 6th Gen iPad

It’s been a whole month since I bought my latest piece of technology and I’m still obsessed.

It’s all down to a Sky TV advert really. They were advertising the new iPad super cheap on TV so Simon and I knew that we had to get one each.

I bought the Gold 6th Gen iPad (9.7″) and I love it. It’s cheap and cheerful and great for blogging.

When I first got the iPad, air was shocked at how heavy it was. I think that was because I was used to using a MacBook Air though. Over time, I got used to the iPad being heavier and I don’t even notice it anymore.

The gold colour on the back of the iPad is absolutely stunning. It’s shiny and pretty and I just love it. It makes me feel classy for using it.

My absolute favourite thing about this iPad is that it is compatible with the Apple Pencil. I’m going to do so much drawing hen I eventually get the money to start drawing and get a pencil.

There are two things that I’m not a huge fan of though. The first one is the camera and then second is the keyboard.

The camera quality is pretty poor but I suppose that you don’t really buy an iPad for taking photos and doing photography.

The keyboard has to be Bluetooth as it doesn’t connect to a normal Apple Keyboard. I suppose on the plus side of this, the keyboard will be a lot cheaper and I could probably pick up a good one on eBay.

My favourite thing to do on this iPad is play games. Why are games so much more fun on a big screen?!

Have you ever tried the iPad 6th gen? If you have, let me know what you think of it.

Personalised Power Banks With USBMakers

These were gifted to me in return for a blog post review. This in no way influences my opinion.

You know when you’re contacted by a brand and they are just the sweetest? Yeah, well that happened when I was contacted by USBmakers who offered to create ten custom USB sticks or power banks for me to review for you lovely lot. I chose the power bank that I wanted and they were super happy to make it for me. They even included a chocolate bar in the package which was super sweet.

USBmakers have a range of different power banks or USB sticks that you can design. Simply contact them with the logo that you wish to have included and they will design it for you. They came back to me with the finished design in a matter of minutes and they shipped out the power banks the very next day.

The design I chose was a lovely illustration that someone did of me a few months ago. It looks so good to see it on a power bank and now I can display it when I’m out and about.

Each power bank comes with a little charging wire and an instruction manual which isn’t actually needed because the power banks are so simple.

Overall, I am super happy with my power banks and will definitely be using them when I need to charge my phone. I’ll keep on in my handbag and then I’ll be fully charged at all times.

If you want to get yourself some power banks or USB sticks then head over to USBmakers and they will be super happy to help you make the perfect design. Prices are super affordable and shipping is amazingly fast! Definitely worth checking out.
